About Us
KoMo Properties is a property investment company specialising in acquiring and managing properties in the West Midlands, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
Kim is a multi-award-winning corporate solicitor and has extensive experience advising on all areas of company & commercial law. She has been practicing law for over a decade and has successfully applied many of her negotiation and legal drafting skills to property investment.
She regularly appears in industry magazines and has featured on a number of podcasts, sharing case studies of some of our projects, she has also been a keynote speaker at property networking meetings nationally.
At KoMo Properties, Kim is our Managing Director and oversees sourcing potential properties and liaising with landlords, homeowners and our investors. She also oversees all of the legal and regulatory aspects of the business, ensuring we are up to date with all compliance and legislation requirements.

Mike, our Operations Director, is a National Residential Landlords Association accredited landlord and manages the KoMo Properties portfolio day-to-day, from sourcing tenants to managing refurbishments.
He takes the lead on sourcing potential properties, liaising with estate agents and managing our build team.
Mike is also a qualified chef and has worked at a number of well-known restaurants.

In 2021, we bought and converted a van into a campervan so we now take our adventures on the road!
Having a legal background means compliance and keeping up to date with regulations, is a key part of our business. We are members of several accreditation schemes and I regularly contribute to industry magazines and speak at property events about investing in property.

Since our 2019 rebrand, our brand and styling of our HMO's is inspired by my Caribbean heritage. We use natural, hard wearing materials such as solid wood furniture and tile flooring. Our brand and styling is unique and recognisable.
We are a family business and grew up in large families so this is an important aspect of our business. We create homes, not houses, for our tenants with a welcoming atmosphere. Our team are part of the KoMo family and we strive to be compassionate and understanding landlords.
Our warm summery interiors are welcoming and vibrant which we believe is unique in the professional and student HMO market. We also design our spaces so that they ensure great use of space and are functional for the intended tenant type.
